Our Managing Director, Raymond Scott, initiated this journey in 1999, after a management buyout from Schenker International. The company name was changed to Incofreight (Pvt) Ltd and an agency agreement was signed with Schenker Germany until May 2007. In June 2007, Incofreight entered into an agency agreement with DACHSER, another German freight forwarding company with offices throughout Europe, USA and the Far East..
With the upturn in the economy in 2009, Incofreight moved to larger premises in Harare, and by 2012 the company opened a Beitbridge office to further support the road freight groupage operations whilst working together with South African groupage specialists and LCL Groupage Operators.
In August 2017, we re-branded the company as Bastion Freight (Pvt) Ltd t/a Incofreight, and expanded our operation by opening up an office in Mutare. We also have border representatives at Plumtree, Victoria Falls and Chirundu.
Besides the DACHSER agency we also have an agency agreement with the WACO Worldwide Freight Forwarder Association with representation in 180 countries. We also deal with several other road transporters who carry various goods for clients.
As such the company offers a wide range of international freight forwarding/customs clearing services via air, sea and road consignments allowing us to keep our company goal of keeping the world moving.
